Elections and Business by Greg November 17, 2014
The US recently finished it’s mid-term elections.
The results were an even more shift from the liberals (Democratic) to conservative (Republicans), with the Republican Party taking control of the House of Representatives, Senate, and even the majority of state Governors are Republican now.
I am not going to choose a side. My policy has always been to vote for the person, not the party.
However, I find it interesting that with our current Democratic president, agree with his policies are not, that even if the stock market is at an all time high and the unemployment rate has dropped from 10% to 5.8% that the Democratic Party still got man handled and lost control of the Senate.
I find this interesting because it speaks well of the public’s demand for ever increasing progress. The public’s demand to meet expectations. Yeah, the economy may be better, but it is not good enough.
Businesses should take note. Customers are the same. You can improve quality, improve service, but if you do not meet expectations they will take their business elsewhere. In other words, elect someone from the another party….
