This patch certainly caught our attention, because at first we thought it was for a Meth Lab.  However, our creative representative explained to us that it was for a company that offered police, fire, security and other government agencies classes on how to enter meth labs, how to preserve the scenes of meth labs, how to dispose of the contents of meth labs, etc…

It is extremely important for police, fire department and other agencies to receive this sort of training and our customer’s is one of the leading firms that offers this type of training. All of their students are given this patch free of charge as a sort of souvenir for their participation in the class.  This acts as a nice memento for members of the class as well as a good promotional product.   This is not the first time that we have done an embroidered patch that has been handed out to students.  In fact we did a patch for American Idol wherein all the attendees of the American Idol camp, received a free embroidered patch.  If you are offering classes, and especially if your classes relate to industries that heavily use patches such as fire, police, EMS, bikers, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc…, then we highly recommend that you consider embroidered patches as a promotional product. Attached is the original mockup and design that our artist did for the customer.  The patch features 11 different colors.  The way that our process works is that we first send a mockup to our customer for approval.  The mockup includes the thread colors, which the customer can visually see on their screen, but we also not the corresponding Pantone Color as well as Thread number color.  We also mark whether there is a special border such as a merrowed border, and any special backings, such as iron on, Velcro, etc… I think our team did a beautiful job on this patch, as the final product looks exactly like the mockup.
