Honoring Firefighters July 15, 2015
If you have been watching the news , you have heard about the tragic wild fires that have overtaken Yarnell , Arizona and claimed the lives of 19 brave firefighters. When I heard about this devastating fire , I automatically thought of all the firefighters we have created custom patches for. We have such respect for firefighters and always enjoying working with them on their custom emblem orders. Firefighters are heroes , they risk their lives everyday for the safety of others. They are some of our most loyal customers and have been some the nicest customers. I would like to pay my respects to the 19 firefighters that lost their lives fighting this fire I would like to send my condolences to their families.
In honor of every firefighter , I would like to share with you some custom patches that we have created. These firefighters have earned the right to wear custom fire patches. Not everyone is worthy enough to wear these special emblems. Firefighters have integrity and they sacrifice their lives for the lives of people they don’t even know.
Take a look at the meaning behind the symbols that are placed on an embroidered emblem:
The Maltese cross that is recognizable on any custom fire patch represents pride, charity, loyalty, honor, gallantry, generosity, dexterity and protection. Many times the Maltese cross has a white boarder that represents that the firefighters have a pure heart and usually there is a gold trim and text that symbolizes “that firefighters, like gold, will withstand trial by fire and still remain.” The custom Fire insignia also displays a shield, which is a symbol of character, strength and protection. Finally in the center of the custom emblem you will see a traditional “fire scramble”. The collection of images represents readiness, usually the images are of a speaking trumpet, a helmet, axe, ladder, hydrant and a pike pole.
Please take a moment to honor your local firefighters and to remember the 19 firefighters that lost their lives in Arizona, they will not be forgotten
