The/Studio: Introduce yourself. Tell our readers a little bit about who you are!
Jeremy: My name is Jeremy Board, I am a Marine Veteran and I am also a house contractor. I made the recent patches for wedding favors for my wedding this year, august 2015. My fiancé Janis and I are active with obstacle course racing and doing things like goruck (military es ruck marchs) For our wedding we plan on giving the patches out for those who ruck with us before our wedding. Our tag/nickname for Janis and I is JnJ WorldWide.
The/Studio: Thank you for your service and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! That is very exciting! What about rucking are you most proud of?
Jeremy: I am proud of the military awareness and also the growth that Janis and I have had together.
The/Studio: That’s very nice. What are some of the greatest challenges you face?
Jeremy: Work schedule and being able to financially afford traveling
The/Studio: Travel is so expensive! I know how you feel. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Jeremy: We will be happily married and have traveled most of the world
The/Studio: That sounds like a wonderful plan. What type of legacy do you want to leave?
Jeremy: My daughter attends and joins us in our activities and I hope at the least we can show her how to enjoy life and make the most of it.
The/Studio: That’s great! What is the story behind the custom product that you produced with The/Studio?
Jeremy: For rucking and also for wearing at events.
The/Studio: How are you going to use this custom patch?
Jeremy: I will sell some of the second patch to raise funds for organizations
The/Studio: Describe the custom patch and what it means
Jeremy: The first patch is the JnJ WorldWide patch which has the world on it and my fiancé and I plan on visiting as much of the world as possible and also that together we are powerful. This means a lot to me because we continue to grow and are an amazing team hoping to be even better each day. We plan on doing major traveling and fun things. The second patch is a fun patch to give to friends who join us in the missions or awareness of other support groups. The/Studio: Do you have any promotions you would like to offer our community?
Jeremy: Currently on www.team1cares.com we have a few virtual runs that the proceeds go to veteran based charities.
The/Studio: Very cool! I am going to look into this! Maybe The/Studio team can participate. Do you have any upcoming events that our community members can attend?
Jeremy: Our wedding will be in August and we also plan on going to attend many events through the east coast and hopefully make some on the west coast. We do plan on honey mooning to Hawaii to also race there.
The/Studio: Sounds like a fun honeymoon! Is there anything our community members can do to help?
Jeremy: I work with a non profit charity called Team 1… basically teaming all teams together to share awareness of those indeed. www.team1cares.com is our website.
Thank you Jeremy for sharing your story with us. It’s an honor to interview a Veteran. Thank you for all you do for our country! We wish you and Janis a lifetime of travel and happiness.
