The/Studio is proud to unveil our new logo. We would like to go behind the scenes and share with you why we decided to change our logo and how our new logo came to be.
Logos have been prevalent since ancient times. Early Greeks and Romans used to imprint coins with symbols. Although logos have expanded, their purpose and relevance has withstood the test of time. Logos are a direct representation of a company. They are responsible for establishing and identifying a brand. A logo is a customer’s first impression of your company.
We decided to change our logo because we wanted something more recognizable. When you think of Brands such as Apple, McDonalds, Barbie, and Nike you can instantly visual their iconic brand logos. We wanted the same for The/Studio. Our company deserved better. We wanted our logo to captivate our customers.
Creating a New Logo
Creating a logo isn’t a easy task. There is so much that goes into the process. We started out with about 50 different concepts. All of them were so different. They varied in color, font and size. When having to decifer through a plethora of different ideas, you need someone on your team that is decisive. Luckily for us that person was the CEO, Joseph Heller, but eventual even Joseph would need to put the final three logos to a vote. As you can see The/Studio definitely believes in Democracy. We had a unanimous vote!
So What’s up with the Studio Lamp?
We decided to incorporate the studio lamp in our logo for several reasons. The most obvious reason is because the name of our company is The/Studio, hence the studio lamp. More importantly we chose the lamp because it represents innovation and creativity.
We might have a new logo but our company is still committed to providing the best customer service and the highest quality custom made products. We hope our new logo invigorates and inspires your next project with us.
