Resolutions by Emmy January 5, 2015
New Year Resolutions are a big topic of discussion this time of year, people usually exchange theirs in conversation or post them on their FaceBook page for more accountability. I personally do not believe in New Year Resolutions, most people usually can’t believe that when I tell them but it’s true. I think New Year Resolutions are a form of procrastination because I’m pretty sure people know where they need to improve before December 31st, so why wait to make the change? Why not always be evolving into a better human being, all year long. People would be a lot more successful with their goals too if they didn’t make all kinds of changes at a time. Change is hard, admitting your faults or weaknesses is also hard, but we are human and as long as we are doing our best everyday in everything we do things will work out.
This same principle applies in business and that’s where The/Studio’s strong commitment to improvement shines. As a company we are constantly improving, we don’t wait for long meetings to be held and spend weeks writing policies and procedures, we implement changes in the moment because we value every aspect of being in business and our relationships with our customers. Perfect place for a person like me to land because working for a company that’s in line with your personal belief system is only going to improve your chances of success.
