Custom Tags for Hats

You aren’t taking full advantage of your custom hats without using custom tags to elevate their appeal. Let’s learn more!

You might not know this, but if you have a fashion or apparel brand that sells custom hats… then you need custom tags to back those hats up! There are several different types of hat tags, including custom hang tags, woven labels, and printed labels. Let’s dive in!

So, What are Hat Tags?

As we mentioned above, there are many types of “hat tags.” These include hang tags, which are attached to your merchandise that usually feature the name of your brand, the material specs, and the pricing, among other information that can be of value to the customer. Woven labels and printed labels are other types of hat tags. These labels are either woven or printed onto the hat, and typically feature product instructions (such as how to wash the hat), but they can also be used as trim. You can even add your logo to them!

Why Should You Use Custom Tags for Your Hats?

There are many reasons why you should use custom tags for hats. For one, it’s the perfect solution for brand awareness. Custom tags give you a place to showcase your brand’s unique style and messaging. You can display your logo, a unique design, and even leave the customer a brief message in your brand voice. You can also use custom tags to initiate sales and promotions.

Beyond this, however, custom tags simply are a must-have to get your apparel retail ready. They provide the quality and appearance needed to get your products on the shelves and elevate your merchandise, leaving the potential for higher markups. Besides, almost every well-known fashion and apparel brand in the industry uses tags, so if you don’t get in on the custom tag game, you’re missing out!

Where Do I Place Custom Hat Tags?

Hang tags are usually attached through the seam of the hat. If you order your custom hats and tags with The/Studio, we can attach the hang tags for you as part of the production process. If you buy them separately then you can go to a tailor or dry cleaner and typically they can attach them for you for a fee.

Woven labels and printed labels can be found on the inside of the hat on the seam, or they can be found on the side of the hat (appearing as a fashionable trim). The story is the same here. If you order your custom hats and tags with The/Studio, we will attach the woven or printed labels for you, but if you buy them separately, you’ll need to visit a tailor or dry cleaner to get them attached.
