The recommendations above are observed patterns of  what we see our customers ordering, but you can choose any size that works best for your embroidered emblems. Whatever size you choose, make sure that the size compliments your design.  If you have an intricate design with a lot of details, it’s best to go with a bigger sized patch because the bigger the patch the more details can be displayed. Also you want to make sure the text is legible, if you choose too small of a patch size your text might not be visible enough.

To determine the custom patch size that you would you like to use, add the length of the emblem and the width of the emblem and divide that by 2. The number that you get from dividing the two is the custom embroidered patch size.

Example:
4″ width + 8″ height = 12
12 divided by 2 = 6
Your patch size is 6

What we have observed as the most common patch size all around is 3″, but patch size is a personal choice and depends on your design and concept and where you are are going to adhere your custom patch. If you are unsure of what size patch to use, our creative specialist are very knowledgeable and can assist you with this matter.
